Mad. Sq. Mark't offers organic pretzels, cannoli
and grilled lamb sandwiches

Grilled lamb sandwiches, pizza samples from Roberta’s in Bushwick, and pastrami sliders are drawing crowds to Madison Square Park's Mad. Sq. Mark't today.  In addition to craft booths lining the western edge of the park, the market has gathered fresh food purveyors in the nearby pedestrian area, dubbed "Food Square" (technically it's more of a triangle, but who's really paying attention when food is involved?).

Area restaurants such as Ilili and Almond are serving grilled lamb sandwiches and pastrami sliders beside artisanal vendors including Sigmund Pretzelshop and Stuffed Cannoli. Organic hand-rolled pretzels and miniature cannolis are the lure- try the Fall-inspired pumpkin pie flavor!
